Memorial Day in Rosarito Book the weekend

What's on

Two kinds of Memorial Day weekend in Rosarito.

A loud one and a quiet one, often in the same week. Here is what filled the town last year and how to choose.

What happened in 2026

The list below comes from last year's published listings and local news reports. Each organizer announces its own dates, so treat it as a preview of the kind of weekend to expect, not a 2027 schedule.

  • Papas & Beer, Memorial Day weekend. A multi-day event at the beach venue on Calle Coronado. In 2026 it ran Friday to Monday, with DJs, Saturday and Sunday pool parties, and open-bar windows. It is for ages 18 and over, requires a valid photo ID, and the organizer listed a round-trip shuttle from San Ysidro. Ticket availability was shown as sold out at one point, so confirm on the official page.
  • Rosarito Art Walk. A lower-key option. The 2025 edition listed more than 60 artists, live music, workshops and local food, with free admission.
  • Fiestas de La Misión. A traditional local festival held in the La Misión area during the 2026 weekend, according to local reports.
  • Festival de Paella, Flamenco + Vino. Reported alongside the other events in 2026.
  • Nightclub parties. Venues such as Coco Beach have hosted ticketed Memorial Day parties in past years.

Pick your weekend

If you want the party

Stay close to the music. Rosarito Inn is next door to Papas & Beer, so you can walk back at the end of the night.

If you want to sleep

The same proximity means noise is part of the neighborhood that weekend. Tell the front desk what you want and ask what they recommend for a quieter stay.

When to check for 2027

Organizers typically post the next edition in the months before the holiday. Check Papas & Beer's Rosarito events page, the local tourism board and each festival's own channels from early in the year.
